Epiloge:
Some people say that "If you're born with a gift, then one day the people will appreciate you very much.". As opposed to this sentence, rises the question: "Will people  appreciate your gift because of the good you do? Or the bad you do?". In the Marvel Universe, both things seem to be more balanced. There are just as many supervillains as superheroes. The Marvel Universe is famous for having around 8000 mutants (both villains and heroes). Weaker villains are being controled by stronger villains. Unexperienced heroes are being tutored by skilled heroes. And some mutants prefer to work only if they receive payment afterwords for their work. So in such a vast and powerful world, is it somehow possible for an ordinary mutant to suddenly become noticed by heroes, villains and other mutants out there... even if your mutant powers don't seem that much impressive? Well, we're about find that out.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

United States of America. The Winnetka town, Illinois. The second richest town in the U.S. It's home to 12189 people... including our main character.

"Eleanor. It's 7:30. Your school bus will be arriving here soon. You have to get up." said Joshua, outside Ellie's room. Inside the room, the girl wakes up. She sits in her bed with her eyes closed, still sleepy from her slumber. She gets up and goes to the bedroom, but not before she accidentally hit the wall next to the bathroom door "Ow!". When she enters the bathroom, she brushes her teeth and then washes her eyes. Before she goes out of the bathroom, she looks up in the mirron and says "Another day, another boring school day.". She goes to the kitchen where Joshua is drinking his coffee.

"Good morning, my dear. It's another fun day for you at school. I remember when I was your age, I used to go to Math Olympiads and Biology Olympiads. I have three golden medals in Biology and a silver in Mathematics. Good old days." Joshua told Ellie.

"Yes, father. You told me this story many times. I know you were a Biology genius and that you went to Harvard and... I'm just a normal kid like everyone else. You've told me that story many times." Ellie told Joshua, her foster father.

"You don't sound very happy about your life, my dear Eleanor. What seems to be the problem?" Joshua asked Ellie.

"Oh, nothing. Just feel a bit... too ordinary lately. With all the stories about mutants winning every good award out there and us ordinary humans... get nothing. I mean being ordinary nowadays is becoming more and more a bad thing. All superheroes and maybe even supervillains are living their lives out there and with powers like theirs, they hardly ever struggle with anything. While, as for ordinary humans, we struggle a lot. We study day and night for exams and homework, while a mutant recently from our school got stright As in every subject possible. The teachers liked him so much, they sent him to probably the best school in the country. Only because he was born that way. Father, I don't hate mutants. In fact, I love what they're doing. I love them. But seeing how much they are appreciated, makes me wish I could be a mutant like them sometimes. It's not fair. I wanna save people, too. I wanna be good, too. I wish one day I could do something that would make people like me. Just like like with them." said Ellie.

"Eleanor, you are special. Just because you are not a genius now, doesn't mean, you'll never be appreciated by anyone. Good deeds are always noticed by people. You just have to work a little harder. Just because that mutant you mentioned became famous, doesn't mean you're any less better than what he is. He may be good at all subjects at school now, but when he goes to work, he'll be able to use only a few of them. You must choose a subject of your taste, too. What do you want to become when you grow up?" Joshua asked Eleanor.

"I love Astronomy. I love planets and stars and galaxies and..."

"Okey. That's a good start." said Joshua, interrupting Ellies sentence, "But Astronomy isn't really that much of a paid job. There aren't that many astronomers needed out there. Why not choose another subject? Why not computers? Programming has become a very demanding job recently. Maybe you could study that?"

"But I like Astronomy. Can't I become an Astronomer, too? I really want to become an Astronomer." Ellie pleaded.

"alright. I guess we should have this conversation some other time. Maybe when you're a little older. Now that you're 8, you're not suited for rational conversations." Joshua told Eleanor.

"What is it with adults and me being 8? I can understand things, too."

"But not everything, my dear. There are things that you are even forbiden to know at this age. Not just ask about them. Now you must finish you breakfast. I'll be upstairs."

"But what about..." at that moment Joshua was already upstairs. Too far away for him to hear Eleanor's words, "Never mind." Ellie exclaimed.

When Ellie finished her breakfast, she took out her smartphone to read any new conversations from her friends. While she was scrolling on the display, reading stuff in the social networking site BookPal, she saw videos posted by one of her classmates(who happens to be a huge fan of mutants). She posted a video on Spider-Man saving a lady from bandits(as usual). Then another video on the X-Men getting prizes for saving the U.S. from terrorist attacks(what else is new?). Another video on the Fantastic Four, saving the world from Doctor Doom(probably the most bada** villain in the world). And finally there's a video on a mutant Ellie hasn't seen in a long time, but still a very famous one among her classmates and her - a video of Deadpool. Deadpool is probably one the most famous mutants out there. But yet, very evil.

"This mutant is so cool! Yet, I'm scared to meet someone like him. A guy like him can embarrass anyone. He can also hurt anyone he wants. He's so scary." Eleanor said to herself, trembling a bit about ever meeting such powerful mutant villains. Deadpool, Victor von Doom, Magneto, Mystique, Green Goblin, Sandman, Loki, Venom, Carnage. These are just some of the names that strike fear in little Ellie. If she ever saw one of the villains, she'll try to run as fast as she could until they can't see her anymore. Luckily for the the little black-haired girl, if she ever saw a mutant, it most definitely be a hero. Like the X-Men, Spider-Man, Iron Man(even though he's no mutant), Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, She-Hulk and her favourite - Thor, "But still, this mutant is awesome".

Suddenly, Ellie remembered to check the time on her phone, in case she misses the bus. The time says 8:20.

"Holy Bible! The bus will be here any minute!" Ellie jumps from the table and straight to her room to pick her bag.

"Come on! Come on! Where is that stupid bag?!", Ellie saw it under her table where she studies, "There you are!". When Ellie pulls out her bag she accidentally pulled the whole desk right on top of her "Aww!". When she manages to push the weight off her, she rushes on the stairs down straight to the door, but not before she trips on the stairs falling down hard.

"Eleanor! Is everything alright down there?" Joshua yells from his room upstairs, worried something bad might of happaned.

"Yeah, dad. Everything's fine. Just dropped by wallet down the stairs. It's all." Ellie answered, trying to calm down her 'father'.

Ellie then grabbed her stuff, ran out, just in time to catch the school bus to "Sacred Heart School".
Is it possible to like someone and at the same time be very afraid of that person?
